Mercury Direct
Okay, okay so Mercury has gone direct - finally!
This means it's no longer retrograde and that's a good thing, right? So why does everyone/everything seem so discombobulated
right now? Well it has to do with several factors including the Mercury station plus the other two events mentioned
below. Mercury just stationed direct today (1/15) or rather yesterday by the time you read this. Even at the direct
station the Mercury Retrograde confusion, miscommunication and misunderstandings can abound. But hang tight Mercury ruled
stuff like, communication and travel will be getting back to normal now. Well at least until mid April when we go into the
next retro phase.

Solar Eclipse
Eclipses bring with them the energy of surprise and the unexpected. Along with the Mercury
station we had a Solar Eclipse Thursday morning. It took place in the very early hours so we didn't see it in this part
of the globe. As with most astrological transits, events tend to happen around the date of the eclipse. We can
certainly see a connection between this eclipse and the earthquake in Haiti. Major earthquakes are often found around
times of eclipses. Add to it the fact that Saturn stationed at the same time which only served to make it all the more devastating.

Saturn
Saturn, the "Lord of Karma" has been Squaring Pluto "Lord of the Underworld". Having
these two heavy planets in stressful aspect reflects in personal and world issues. To add fuel to the fire, Saturn just
stationed retrograde. If you've been experiencing high levels of stress these past few days chances are you are feeling the
effects of this transit very strongly. Look back to approximately the second week of Oct. '09, circumstances that came about
in your life around that time are now going to be reexamined. This reexamination will be in effect until around the end of
May when Saturn will turn direct. With Saturn there is the theme of work and/or structure. Yet how this plays out in
our individual lives is dependant on where Saturn is transiting in our personal charts. And with Saturn there are always lessons.
So pay attention!
