What Is Energy Work?
Enery healing is a laying on of hands technique. It is a complimentary, alternative therapy which boosts the body's natural
healing abilities. A session involves various hand positions covering many chakra points and works alongside standard medical
treatments as well as other alternative methods without interfering with them and can greatly improve results.

How Long Does A Treatment Take?
A treatment is usually about two hours in length, however a shorter one hour session is available if you prefer. Traditional
treatments usually cover weeks or months of regular sessions, as the healing energies gently enhance your own self-healing.
This increases a person's ability to heal from physical ailments as well as emotional imbalances. The person who only has
occasional treatments will still benefit, since energy work may also be used for the purposes of stress reduction and relaxation.
Energy work is also effective in shorter, more intense "bursts" either right at the point of discomfort, or from a distance.

What Is A Treatment Like?
Energy healing is different than massage, the client remains fully clothed during treatment and the practitioner actually
need not touch the person directly during the session. However, touch has been shown to be therapeutic, and receiving an energy
healing treatment is a very relaxing, soothing experience. During the session one may feel sensations such as heat, cold or
tingling. Most have a feeling of deep relaxation.

The Results
Energy work increases wellness at all levels, physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. The results may be dramatic, or very
subtle. Since healing may be occurring at the emotional level, physical symptoms might not seem to change. Alternately, when
you do see a change in symptoms do not take it as a diagnosis that you are "cured", you should always consult your medical
practitioner concerning your health.
